Competent Person for Health and Safety

TL Safety provide a qualified health and safety advisor to act as your company’s Competent Person in order to assist in meeting your legal health and safety obligations, as specified in Regulation 7 of the Management of the Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Many business owners lack health and safety expertise and therefore need external support which TL Safety are able to provide. Other organisations may have internal resources but require some additional support for those who fill the competent person role internally.

​A competent person is someone who has sufficient training, knowledge and other qualities that allow them to assist you properly.
We do not insist on long term contracts which some other providers do. We provide an annual retainer contract which can be paid for monthly if you choose to do so. We are confident that you will retain our services year on year. Whilst you have a paid Competent Person Retainer Contract in place you will benefit from the services stated below. Hopefully, we will add value to your business and help you to create a safe working environment. Our Competent Person Retainer Services renew automatically to give you peace of mind unless you give us at least 3 months written notice prior to the end of the current retainer period. It’s easy to end your retainer contract, just pick up the phone and talk to us and then simply send us an email to confirm your decision.
