Asbestos Awareness E-Learning

Our online asbestos awareness course is aimed at making the candidates aware of the dangers associated with exposure to airborne asbestos fibres, occurring through unknowingly coming into contact with materials containing asbestos. If you work on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, asbestos could be present. You will need awareness training, so you know how to avoid the risks. The course will take you approximately two hours, and on successfully completing the course you will be automatically issued an Asbestos Awareness certificate, which you can download immediately. You must carry out refresher training every 12 months.

Information, instruction and training for asbestos awareness is intended to give workers and supervisors the information they need to avoid work that may disturb asbestos during any normal work which could disturb the fabric of a building, or other item which might contain asbestos. It will not prepare workers, or self-employed contractors, to carry out work with asbestos-containing materials.
